Kreators Jam - Artists joining the fight against Cancer 2010-10-16

Kreators Jam

A special art and music evening are being planned for everyone who has lost the battle against cancer and especially for those who are still fighting this illness. With this, all the artists and musicians would like to send a message to all cancer fighters as well as their families that we want to join the battle against cancer.
On 16 October 2010 artists and musicians will be joining their talents to raise funds for CANSA. A Rock show at Steak & Ale in Pretoria, Lyttelton will start at 20:00. The entrance fee is R60 and there will be an art stand, so don’t forget to bring an extra buck or two. There are a lot of fun prizes to be won.
Musicians include Judith, who has won two first place positions on homebrew, Serogaat, an Afrikaans hard rock band with an Old School influence, Wysdiman who will surely shake things up a bit if you thought you were going to have a peaceful evening at the event. The fragile, a collaboration between South Africa’s first female lead gothic bands, Glass Angels and Perennial Darkness.
Various artists will be exhibiting and selling their donated artwork to help raise funds. Artists include, Sin Bin’s handmade ears (get an extra pair of ears, in case you can’t use yours the next day), Funk Cradle, with crazy and funky works. Trens are donating some creations that will help you get through the day after, La Fay Morgaine is bringing her ‘Tassies” be sure to check them out. Lastly fine artist Kirsten Pepler will also be donating art.
A big thanks to Rapport, who has joined our quest by standing in as our Media Sponsor.
